Alapiningwani (Common Koel)

Alapiningwani, is the Stormbird. Stormbird tells us when a cyclone or big storm is coming. In the wet season, it circles around and sings out to let us know the storm is coming in a couple of days. When we sleep at night, we can feel it. It’s coming. Seeing the bird, it gives us the sign to be prepared.
