This etching was inspired by a visit Geraldine made with other artists from Jilamara to MAGNT in April 2017 to mine the archive of the Tiwi collection. Jilamara artists were shown many old barks and Geraldine referenced imagery from the barks, displaying Japalinga (stars) and Wantaringuwi (the sun).

This is a a hard ground etching with aquatint and chine collection, made by the artist in collaboration with Masterprinter Basil Hall in a print workshop at Jilamara in April 2017.
