Daniel Stassi first joined Jilamara Art Centre in 2022. He mainly enjoys carving tokwampini (birds) in ironwood and uses locally sourced ochres to paint them. 

Daniel has worked at the Milikapiti Men’s Shed, in labouring and machine works around the community. He is skilled at operating tools and machinery and these skills translate into the carvings he makes at the art centre.
