Jilamara rising superstar Michelle Woody Minnapinni was announced as the winner of the King & Wood Malleson Contemporary First Nations Art Award late in 2020. Due to COVID restrictions on travel the physical finalist exhibition has been postponed to July 2021. Michelle and Jilamara have had to cancel travel to this event due to recent lockdowns in the Northern Territory, but Michelle’s winning work ‘Ngiya Murrakupupuni (My Country)’ will be on show with other Jilamara finalists Kaye Brown and Timothy Cook for all those in Melbourne in July 2021!
