Glen Farmer Illortaminni

Glen Illortamini was born between the Mango and Mulana trees where the last old house was standing at Milikapiti. He grew up in Milikapiti and went to the local school. Glen began as an artist with Jilamara Arts and Crafts in 1994. The Australian Print Workshop conducted a workshop at the art centre where Glen learnt how to etch and do linoblocks. Printing is Glen’s preferred medium. Glen is also an artsworker at Jilamara.
Glen has had several commissions to create carvings of the creation story of Jinani and Purukapali and has participated in many group exhibitions.
