Flossie has live in Milikapiti all her life – “this is my home.” Before joining Jilamara she worked at the library, farm and take away. She started painting two years ago and produces artworks based around traditional body designs. She “loves to paint” and says Jilamara is good for her. She has 4 grown children and feels it is important to keep Tiwi culture strong for the little children when they grow up, so “they can learn the dances and language.”
