The painting is of me or my dreaming, the emu traveling. The emu has multiple homes or water symbols that refer to different language groups that share the same songline. My paintings are a contemporary take fusing my Tiwi and desert influences. In this work the emu travels from Ngarlikurlangu near Yuendumu (Yurrampi) to Lajamanu then up through Arnhem land.
