In this painting their is a priest and three nuns that represent the foreign power that invaded me and my people, the Tiwi people. Their church is represented in the top corner, representing who they worship. There are also dancers that represent my ancestors and Tiwi culture. They are dancing watawarila (naked), like the old ways. We worshipped purukapali, the moon man and country. The foreign power influence negativity that affected the people from the past to the present generation. We the Tiwi people and our culture will not be forgotten by the western power and will never be destroyed.
